Good and bad news...
First the good...
WELL DONE to Sanshoes Sydney Swans. Having travelled over to Western Aus, they toppled the West Coast Eagles and put themselves on top of the AFL Ladder !!!! To win by nearly 10 goals is a great effort.
My Geelong Cats... Not so lucky. Fundamental errors causing turnovers, poor kicking at goal and a massive 7 goals to 1 first qtr by Collingwood sealed our fate.
We ended up playing ok but still got done by 30-odd points (5 goals).
We play almost all of the sides above us in the remaining games whereas Sydney has a pretty good run home. Mind you they play us at our ground in the last round of the home & away season. Hope to get revenge for last season.
