Well... after months and months of issues and speed problems and thinking the computer might be at fault as well...
It was the modem and/or wireless router !!!

Steph (eldest) bought a D-Link Modem Router today .... What a pleasure it is to click on the internet and get action straight away !!!! Woo Hoo !!!

I'm typing this with no hiccups... Oh joy and rapture !!

It's dual band whatever that means.
